Terms of Use
Effective date: 21 July 2026
By downloading or using the Hayya application ("Hayya", "the app"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. The app
Hayya helps you observe daily prayer times by presenting them as call-style alarms. Prayer times are calculated on your device using established methods and your chosen settings.
2. No guarantee of accuracy
Prayer times are calculated approximations that depend on your location, the calculation method and madhab you select, and your device's clock. Hayya is a helpful aid, not a religious authority. Always defer to your local mosque or trusted local timings where precision matters. We do not guarantee that alarms will fire in every situation, as this depends on your device's operating system, permissions, and power settings.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Hayya only for lawful, personal purposes and not to misuse, reverse-engineer for malicious ends, or interfere with the app.
4. Intellectual property
Hayya and its content, design, and branding are the property of their respective owners. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use the app.
5. Limitation of liability
Hayya is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any missed prayers, missed alarms, or any damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the app.
6. Changes
We may update the app and these terms over time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
