Marketplace Du'a does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data. Everything the extension does happens locally in your own browser.
What the extension stores
The extension saves only your own settings, so it can work the way you configured it:
- Whether reminders are turned on or off
- How often the reminder is shown
- Your dark-mode preference
- Which built-in marketplaces are enabled or disabled
- Any custom websites you add
This is kept using Chrome's storage API. If you are signed
in to Chrome with sync enabled, these settings may sync across your own
devices through your Google account. They are never sent to the
developer or any third party.
Website access
To know when to show a reminder, the extension checks the address (hostname) of the page you are visiting against your list of shopping sites. It does not read, record, modify, or transmit the content of any web page, and it does nothing on pages that are not on your list.
No tracking
There are no analytics, no advertising, no trackers, no accounts, and no external servers. The extension makes no network requests of its own.
External links
Each du'a links to its source on sunnah.com. Opening one of these links is no different from clicking any other link and is governed by that website's own privacy policy.
Children's privacy
Because no personal data is collected from anyone, the extension is safe for users of all ages.
